"Models opening at Printers Corners"

Winthrop Properties has announced the opening of two decorated models at Printers Corner, a 17-story high rise currently nearing completion, at Polk and Wells street in Printers Row. The models show a one-bedroom, one-bath layout and a two-bedroom, two-bath layout.

Printers Corner includes 88 condominiums that range from 743 to 2,290 square feet. Floor plans offer one-, two- and three-plus bedrooms with one to three baths. Base prices are from the $280,000s to the $800,000s and deeded parking spaces are available from $36,000. Chicago-based Fitzgerald and Associates is the architect.

Developer Bob Horner, co-principal of Winthrop Properties, said the opening of the models is an especially anticipated event for Printers Corner because buyers can now see first-hand all of the high-end, included features.

The most notable feature, according to Winthrop Properties co-principal Ibrahim Shihadeh, is the floor-to-ceiling corner windows in every home. "That's the real 'wow' factor. Buyers are thrilled to see just how dramatic the effect of these windows is. The natural light and city views are amazing," he said.

Other standard features shown in the models include 1 1/4-inch granite kitchen countertops with undermount sinks; oak flooring; solid-core doors; a washer and dryer; a tech center; Grohe® bath faucets; marble baths; and a Whirlpool® tub. All homes also include a 42-inch plasma television.

The first model, a 1,145-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath residence is decorated in shades of green and earth tones.

The second model is a 769-square-foot, one-bedroom, one bath plan. This model, shown decorated in varying shades of blue, highlights the floor-to-ceiling corner windows as the focal point of the home.
